Subject: WOW!
When we started this 13 months ago with just a handful of interested fans huddled around a table at McGillin's, who could have dreamed that over 100 Sons of Ben would have been given the honor of opening the press conference with Four Leaf Clover accompanied by a full string band? It was truly an amazing day for the Sons of Ben and all Philadelphia soccer fans.
It is wonderful that we have such a great relationship with the owners and they have pledged to work with us going forward to make Philadelphia a true soccer town and Seaport Drive a world class stadium with an unrivaled environment.

Subject: Recap of Thursday
Major League Soccer announced in Chester on Thursday that Philadelphia will be getting a team in 2010. The team will play in a new stadium on the waterfront in Chester at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge. The new stadium will be the cornerstone of a $500 million project involving commercial and residential development and a convention center. The Sons of Ben are looking forward to standing on the banks of the Delaware River in 2 years. If you'd like to join us, click the "Join SoB" link on top of the page.
